New to SOTA and blogging – Adan VK1FJAW

Adan VK1FAJW has made a big ‘splash’ entry to Amateur Radio and has taken to the Summits on the Air (SOTA) Awards program like a duck to water.  Adan’s enthusiasm to activate SOTA peaks is infectious second only to his thirst for hints and tips.  🙂      In recent weeks Adan has activated 6 local Canberra summits and in his spare time Adan has designed and constructed his own antennas for SOTA.  Adan’s antenna collection includes a portable fold up 2m Moxon, a 3 element 2m yagi and a multi-band HF link dipole.  Last weekend Adan put his hand to blogging, you can find Adan’s blog at:

Check out Adan’s 2m Moxon design and recent SOTA activation reports.

Congratulations Adan, I guess we are likely to hear more of you on 2m and 40m operating from VK1 and nearby VK2 SOTA peaks.  😉
