SOTA – VK Band Usage in 2016

Summary of SOTA activity in VK for 2016 – Top 10 All Mode band usage, some don’t have a top 10!  The default sort order is by points scored.

Very few VK SOTA activators are experimenting with 18 MHz and 24 MHz activations.  Of the three WARC bands 10 MHz (30m) was the most popular during 2016.

    • Hi Ken, The S2S log is a separate data table to the activator’s log. You may like to check the activators log menu to see if you have uploaded your microwave activation as a separate action to recording the S2S contacts. The two tables are independent of each other.

  2. Nice stats. It seems from the VOACAP prop reporter that 17M is the band in the best shape at the moment from my home QTH to the Southern states so I may need turn my attention to an antenna for that band and also as an activator.
